Ladies’ Cap Sleeve Vest and Beret Pattern

Crochet a cap sleeve vest and beret with our vintage pattern. Color image scanned from 1960s catalog. Done in simple single crochet with cap sleeves and V-neck. Originally made with Mary Maxim Angelspun yarn, which was a brushed, #2 light sport-weight with 250 yds per 2 oz skein. Gauge is 6 sc x 8 r = 2″ on a K-10.5 hook. You will find our sport-weight yarns here. We recommend Mary Maxim Mellowspun. Keep in mind, yardage varies. Materials List: Sport weight yarn 4 balls, andcrochet hook size U.S. K/10.5 (6.50 mm). Fits sizes 32-34-36-38Intermediate crochet.
