Hat & Socks Pattern

Knit a warm pair of socks or hat with this vintage pattern. Always have a warm pair of socks on hand when you make them yourself! Created originally using a bulky weight yarn, Artik, which offered 130 yds per 3 oz skein at the time. Head over to our yarn section to pick the perfect bulky-weight yarn for your projectjust remember that yardage can differ from brand to brand, so plan accordingly! We highly recommend Mary Maxim Titan! Materials List: Hat (1 skein), Socks (2 skeins), knitting needles size U.S. 10.5 (6.50 mm). Socks fit average 10.5 to 11, and the hat fits a 22″ head size. Intermediate knit.

Stitch Requirements: Cast on, cast off, knit, purl, stockinette stitch, increase, decrease, repeat, slip stitch, stocking stitch, through the back stitch, place marker.
