Use this pattern to knit a ladies’ or girls’ top. Color image scanned from 1960 catalog. Originally made using sport weight yarn, Mary Maxim Mellowspun or Mellowmist, which had 420 yards per skein. Materials List All Sizes: 8 Oz Sport-weight yarn, knitting needles sizes 5 (3.75 mm) and 8 (5 mm). Fits sizes: Children 4-6-8, and women 34-36-38Intermediate knit.

Stitch Requirement: Knit, purl, repeat, increase, decrease, stockinette, cast on, bind off.
